The Inspiration Behind Gizmo:
Andrew was inspired by iconic brands like "The Hundreds" with their "Adam Bomb" logo and "Ben Davis" with their creative Monkey logo.
He saw how these mascots brought personality and a sense of fun to their brands. With influences from other legendary names like "Stussy," Andrew envisioned a character for Gotkapzz that would embody creativity, adventure, and style.
His love for cool art, music, cartoons, and vibrant designs played a significant role in shaping Gizmo’s character.
Why a Mouse?
Andrew chose a mouse for our mascot because of its symbolism. Mice are small but determined, always chasing something, much like our customers who are constantly pursuing their dreams and goals.
Gizmo’s love for cheese isn’t just a quirky trait—it represents the pursuit of one's passions. This concept is woven into our brand, with cheese motifs on our hats, reminding us all to keep chasing what we love.
